This project is mund.Art together with 4 ballet dancers from the "Wiener Staatsoper". It’s an expression of music and dance.
The program shows the link between modern expression dance and music of different epochs. The choreography is by Claudio Bombardo (Spain) and Vanessa Tamburi (Italy).
"Four Seasons" – main piece of the first half of the concert – is an original composition for brass quintett by contemporary composer John Stevens (America) combining modern dance with modern music. In the second part of the concert a new choreography is put to dancemusic of different epochs. A highlight of the second half is Leonard Bernstein’s Dance Suite for brass quintet, which he dedicated to 5 choreographers at the time. Because of the short length this last work of Bernstein never was performed in the original ballet version.
